Oral suspension
FOR REMOVAL AND CONTROL OF THE INTERNAL PARASITES
INGREDIENTS:
Albendazole…………………… 25 g
Excipient qs………………… 1 liter
INDICATIONS:
Treatment parasites for cattles, goats, sheep.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Oral suspension for use in cattle, camel, sheep and goats for removal and control of liver flukes, tapeworms, stomach worms (including 4th stage inhibited larvae of ostertagia ostertagi), intestinal worms, and lungworms in cattle, camel and sheep and for the treatment of adult liver flukes in nonlactating goats.
For oral administration:
Cattle, pig: 3 ml/10 – 15 b.w. Against liver fluke due to Fasciola hepatica: 4 ml/10 – 15 b.w.
- Goats, sheeps, piglets, calves: 2 ml/10 – 12 b.w. Against liver fluke due to Fasciola hepatica: 3 ml/10 – 12 b.w.
- Dogs, cats: 3 ml/10 – 12 b.w. Against liver fluke due to Fasciola hepatica: 4 ml/10 – 12 b.w.
- Chickens: 1 ml/4 – 6 b.w or 2 ml/ 1 liter drinking water.
In cattle that have just been put in the farm, using 1 dose and do not feed within 8 hours.
In acute infections is repeated a second time after 3-4 weeks.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
- For meat:
- Cattles: 14 days.
- Chickens: 10 days.
- For milk: 4 days.
NOTE:
- Shake the bottle before use.
- Do not administer to pregnant animals during the first half of pregnancy. Do not administer doses greater than 15 mg/ kg of b.w. in heifers and 10 mg/ kg of b.w. in sheep and goats, in case of animals that are in the second half of pregnancy.
- Do not administer in case of known hypersensitivity to albendazole. Albendazole has no adverse effect on the fertility of male animals.
