INJECTABLE SOLUTION

TREATMENT OF ENTERITIS, DIARRHEA

 

INGREDIENTS:

Enrofloxacin………………… 100 mg

Excipient qs…………………….. 1 ml

 

INDICATIONS:

For treatment of gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by micro-organisms sensitive to Enrofloxacin, like Pneumonia, Mycoplasma infections, Coli – septicaemia/ Coli – diarrhea, Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, enteritis, dysentery, Pasteurellosis, acute mastitis in lactating dairy cattle caused by E. coli.

 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Intramuscular injection or subcutaneous injection.

General dose:  2,5 mg enrofloxacin per kg body weight daily for 3 days (2,5 ml per 100 kg body weight). This rate may be doubled to 5 mg/ 1 kg body weight (5 ml per 100 kg body weight) for 5 days for salmonellosis and complicated respiratory disease.

 

Note:

• Not more than 10 ml should be administered at any one subcutaneous injection site.

 

Withdrawal period:

• For meat: 10 days.

 

STORAGE: store in shade and dry place temperature below 30^oC
